In 1980, Dave Taylor was one of the top scorers in the NHL, and formed the famed "Triple Crown Line" with LA Kings teammates Marcel Dionne and Charlie Simmer. That season, all three teammates scored more than 100 points, with Taylor recording a career-best 112 points. Dave Taylor would win the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy for his loyalty to the Kings, the King Clancy memorial Trophy for his charitable work, and would finish his career as a 4x NHL All-Star with his jersey retired by Los Angeles.
